The key to a good smoothie is the taste and texture! Who wants to eat chunks of kale and spinach or coconut oil!! You don’t have to have a fancy blender to make good smoothies. However, a Vitamix or Blendtec would be nice- lol! If you don’t have a high-powered blender, follow the tips below to have smoothie success!
- First, add in your frozen fruit or ice cubes to the bottom of your blender.
- Then, add the liquid of your choice.
- Add your greens, banana, protein powder and supplements.
- Blend these items thoroughly and then add in your coconut oil. (If you add in your coconut too early the ice or frozen fruit will freeze it and you will have coconut oil chunks.
