Smoothie Success!

The key to a good smoothie is the taste and texture! Who wants to eat chunks of kale and spinach or coconut oil!! You don’t have to have a fancy blender to make good smoothies. However, a Vitamix or Blendtec would be nice- lol! If you don’t have a high-powered blender, follow the tips below to have smoothie success!

  • First, add in your frozen fruit or ice cubes to the bottom of your blender.
  • Then, add the liquid of your choice.
  • Add your greens, banana, protein powder and supplements.
  • Blend these items thoroughly and then add in your coconut oil. (If you add in your coconut too early the ice or frozen fruit will freeze it and you will have coconut oil chunks.

Here is one of my favorite breakfast smoothies – Yummy!

Strawberry Banana Cream Smoothie:

(Place in blender in order, blend thoroughly & Enjoy!)

 12 frozen strawberries

10 ounces of unsweetened almond/coconut milk

1/4 C. Coconut Cream in can – full fat

1 banana (or 1/2 of an avocado to minimize sugar content)

1 scoop of your favorite vanilla protein powder OR try my fave go to gluten free protein powder….”Garden of Life Raw, Organic, Vanilla Meal Replacement.” It has 20 grams of protein per scoop. I get mine on Amazon Prime or most natural grocers have this line. CLEAN & YUMMY!

1 Tsp of coconut oil (optional)

Optional: 5 drops of my approved CBD oil to help promote a healthy immune function and balanced, overall health! Go to my Chic Store to check out the details on the full spectrum or broad spectrum oils.

ENJOY!! Super yummy!
