I heard that phrase today and I thought it was definitely post worthy!! Take a look at that torn up Bible – lol! Mr. D gave that to me in 1992 and I just can’t part with it. It is such a treasure to my heart because it has helped me to fight some pretty tough battles in my life as you can see!
Often times we get so caught up in the valleys of life and we forget that our problem is actually super small in comparison to Almighty God. It says in Jeremiah 32:17 “Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and earth by your great power and outstretched arm. NOTHING is too hard for you.”
We need to get our eyes off of that awful situation and onto the ONE who can change it. If God made the heavens and the earth, then why would we even think for a second that our problem can not be handled by the Creator of this Universe.
I was reminded today by the Holy Spirit that whenever I face a situation or circumstance that is out of my control, give it to the One that has the control. Once we completely surrender that control (which was never ours to begin with – trust me, I have to remind myself this all the time 🙂 he will move mountains on our behalf. OUR GOD IS BIGGER than any problem we face and like Jeremiah said,”Nothing is to hard for God!” (even a cancer diagnosis – just say’n!)
